What is included in the $2,000 starter site?
Five pages (Home, About, Services, Contact, and FAQ or a service page of your choice), a contact form with email delivery, basic on-page SEO, a mobile-responsive layout, domain management, and deployment on Vercel. The build price covers the site itself. Hosting + management is required after launch at $45/month, which keeps your domain active, dependencies current, and includes basic copy updates.
How long does it take to build?
Most starter sites are delivered in two to four weeks from kickoff. Timeline depends on how quickly content and assets are provided. We send a checklist at the start so nothing holds up the build.
Can I update the site myself after launch?
Next.js sites do not have a visual editor, so updates require a developer. That is why hosting + management is required with every build. Basic copy changes like business hours, phone numbers, and service descriptions are included at no extra charge. For new pages, design changes, or larger updates, the Website Care plan adds dedicated hours for that work. If you need a fully self-managed site with a visual content editor, or prefer a clean handoff with no ongoing commitment, contact us and we will scope that separately.
What counts as a basic copy change?
Basic copy changes are text-only updates to existing content: business hours, phone numbers, addresses, service descriptions, and similar factual edits. Up to 2 requests per month are included in your Hosting + Management plan. Requests beyond that roll to the following month or can be handled as Care plan hours. Not included: new pages, design or layout changes, image or media swaps, new sections, or anything that requires rebuilding part of the site.
What if I need more than 5 pages or a custom feature?
Additional pages and custom features are available and scoped separately. If your project needs a CMS, ecommerce, user accounts, or integrations, it likely falls under a custom build. Start a conversation and we will scope it accurately.
Do you build ecommerce or membership sites?
Yes, but not under the fixed-price starter package. Ecommerce, membership platforms, booking systems, and other custom functionality are full-stack custom builds scoped per project. Use the project scoping calculator or contact us to get a starting estimate.
What happens after the site launches?
Your build includes 30 days of post-launch support. After that, hosting + management at $45/month keeps your domain active, your site maintained, and basic copy changes covered. If you need dedicated update hours or priority support, the Website Care plan starts at $125/month. Need something different entirely? Contact us and we will work it out.
